Sadly, due to the pandemic, there were a lot of changes in the 4th of July festivities this year. Major shows all across the city have been canceled. This applies to the cities inside the LA County as well – movers La Verne CA report that all events have also been canceled here, too. Along with that, no one is allowed to put on firework displays in the whole county during the weekend. However, this doesn’t mean that you cannot still watch a show outside of the county!

Fireworks have been the tradition of all 4th of July celebrations for years!

San Juan Capistrano, Los Alamitos, and San Bernandino are all going to be hosting drive-in fireworks shows. This gives you the distance from other people – but also a chance to celebrate the 4th of July in the best way we know how! Lake Elsinore will offer a show by shooting fireworks off its T-peninsula. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the show Tustin is putting up just by watching it from home or streaming it! There may be more of these all over the area – so we encourage you to Google search them!

Grand Park’s 4th of July party will look somewhat differently this year

One of the traditions for many people living in LA is going to Grand Park and celebrating on the cheap. Are you one of these people? Then we are sad to inform you that this year, you will have to change up your traditions. Of course, this is not to say that you will need to pay for a party – you can still celebrate cheaply from the comfort of your own home!

picnics are traditionally one of the most Fun 4th of July events in LA
Try to refrain from any picnics this year!

This is why the Downtown Park is hosting a three-hour live stream this year. You will be participating in some cooking demos, there will be local comedians and ensembles, as well as other workshops and even musical performances! The park, however, will stay closed throughout the holiday. This is why you will not be able to participate in any fun 4th of July events in LA’s park. So, no gatherings and picnics this year even during the day! However, you can call moving companies in California and come here next year – once this whole chaos is over!
